Nick Henry was elected Mayor of Aitutaki in October 2024. Nick, Diane and their two boys have made Aitutaki home for the past 10 years.

Having been involved in the political arena all his life, Nick brings a deep understanding of governance, policy, and community engagement. His leadership is shaped by both Island and national goals.

Nick is committed to strengthening public services, supporting sustainable development, and building a responsive and transparent Island Government.

Twin Ruarangi, affectionately known as Mama G, is a dedicated community leader who proudly serves as Deputy Mayor of Aitutaki.

Known for her strong presence across the island, she actively supports a wide range of community programs, from Sports and Culture, to Church and Island Events.

Mama G’s deep commitment to service, respect for tradition, and hands-on approach make her a vital link between the Island Government and the people.

Deputy Mayor Ruarangi continues to be a strong advocate for unity, youth development, and the preservation of Aitutaki’s values and identity.
